Teej fest at WTC

Kathmandu, August 5, 2016: The Women’s Creation Centre will be organising the Dabur Special Teej Festival 2016, in association with the Naari magazine. The event will celebrate the major Hindu festival Teej, starting August 11 to August 15, at the United World Trade Centre, in the Capital.

The event will have on exhibit goods and services produced by women, which, according to the organisers, will act as a platform for women entrepreneurs to share their creation and experiences; moreover, the event will feature 90 stalls featuring all of Teej essentials including religious paraphernalia, handicrafts, clothing, and home appliances. The five-day event will see a number of food stalls along with a plethora of artists and DJs.

At a press conference held in the Capital on Wednesday, the organisers said that they were expecting over 40, 000 visitors to the festival. The entry to the event is free and open to all.
