Kathmandu, Dec 19, 2014: Yellow Nepal won Google Business Group Stories Challenge this year among applicants from 50 countries. Yellow Nepal is a location based search service application that lists nearby restaurants, discount offers and events in Kathmandu.
Under the Judging criteria of Sustainability,Innovation, Inspiration, Potential, and Business values and vision, Google Business Group (GBG) announced Yellow Nepal as one of the winner among top three winners getting maximum number of public votes.
Talking with Glocal Khabar, co-founder of Yellow Nepal, Anish Shrestha, says, “Everyone has voted us to win from the top 9 finalists. Its a amazing feeling but more than winning excitement, we feel we’ve big responsibility ahead. Winning the competition is nothing but winning the market is. We have big dream to chase.”
Yellow app suggests the list and details about restaurant, deals & events in Kathmandu. The app also allows direction, contact address, emails of restaurants. It has features of personalized notification for reminder of deals and event of favorite restauram ts and syncs data server that can work offline. This app can be downloaded from Google Play Store.
The other two winners of GBG stories challenge were Mogo Reader from Srilanka and Imagina na Copa from Brazil.
