14th Inter College Rotaract Running Shield Quiz Competition Successfully Concluded Regional Game

Kathmandu, February 7, 2019: Rotaract club of Kathmandu jointly with Rotaract club of Butwal South and Rotaract club of Pokhara successfully concluded Regional Game of 14th Inter College Rotaract Running Shield Quiz Competition on 2nd February 2019. It was held on the Rotary Hall, Thapathali in Kathmandu, Rotary Community Building, Devinagar in Butwal and Ganesha Banquet in Pokhara.

On the regional round, Patan Nist College, St. Xavier's College from Kathmandu, School of Engineering from Pokhara and New Horizon E.B.H.S.School from Butwal were able to make it to the finale. 

Rotaract is a platform for youths aged 18 to 30 to come together in the bonds of friendship and community service so that they can develop themselves morally, ethically and professionally. Since the early 90s, Rotaract Clubs around the country have excelled in the areas of vocational development and community service and continue to do so.

Inter College Rotaract Running Shield Quiz Competition was initiated on 2004 A.D and is now a  signature project under Professional Development Avenue. In 2004 A.D, with the aim of spreading knowledge about Rotary-Rotaract movement in Nepal, Rotaract club of Kathmandu thought of creating a platform which whilst being beneficial to the students would also help spread awareness about the good deeds of Rotary and Rotaract movement in Nepal. This time, taking a leap forward it was planned to conduct regional and national level. From Regional game, two teams from Kathmandu and one each from Butwal and Pokhara will be in the finale, which is going to be held on 9th February 2019 in Rotary Hall, Thapathali Kathmandu.
