KABUL, April 6, 2015: Groups of national police who were supported by the army have executed 26 Taliban fighters during several operations across the Afghan territory over the past 24 hours.
According to a statement of Ministry of Interior released on Monday, 34 millitants were wounded and 6 others got arrested during the operations that have been charged in Nangarhar, Kunduz, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Maidan Wardak, Logar, Farah and Helmand provinces.
Moreover, the statement added that Afghan police have also found a number of arms and ammunitions during the operations.
