Kathmandu, November 24, 2016: With the aim of promoting the culture of public speaking and presentation among people, Empowerment Academy, the communication and empowerment wing of King’s College is organizing the ‘National speaking Championship- 2016’. The programme has started from today at the King’s College premises at Baber Mahal and will last for three days.
The competition received application from 160 students from different colleges from across the nation. Among them, 59 students competed in the preliminary round held today. 27 students are selected to compete in the second round. Top ten speakers will eventually fight during the final round to held on November 26, 2016 at Club 25 Hours, Naxal, to claim the Championship.
The winner of the championship will bag a grand prize of Rs. 75,000. The competition was opened for students of +2 graduates, Bachelors, and Masters levels (under the age of 25).
