Bhaktapur, 10 May, 2015Â :Â 4000 houses of Bhaktapur are at high risk due to the devastating earthquake. As the houses of the area are in the verge of collapsing, the residents of the area still are reluctant to go back to their home.
4,000 houses including 2,000 in Bhaktapur municipality area and rest in Madhyapurthimi, Anantalingeswor, mahamanjushree, Nagarkot, Suryabinayak and Changunarayan municipality areas are reeling under vulnerable situation.
Bhaktapur town alone has seen 2,000 houses at risk said Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) at Metropolitan Police Range Bhaktapur Shyam Krishna Adhikari.
Though the security personnel have said the bid to demolish damaged and vulnerable structure, due to narrowed space there, it it is not likely to collapse all vulnerable houses.
