Kathmandu, March 19, 2018: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in association with House of Rajkarnikar is all set to organize ‘Global Adventure and Mountaineering Conference and Expo 2018’ (GAMCE) from March 23, to March 25, 2018, at Hotel Yak and Yeti, Kathmandu.
Adventure sports, adventure tourism, and environment are the three main activities that are in focus. The expo will feature exhibits and exhibitors from adventure travel services, adventure gear, and equipment. About 30 companies, with adventure products and services, will be showcasing their products at the event.
The organizer of the event said that the three-day event includes 60 speakers and will be attended by more than 250 participants. The adventure and mountaineering conference will be hosting events in three different topics of adventure sports, adventure tourism, and environment. The conference is being held in Nepal due to the remarkable growth in world adventure tourism. 20 adventure buyers as of today are operating commercially from the region and 30 plus institutional adventure buyers from around the world.
The expo has aimed to introduce Nepal as the adventure hub and provide a common platform to the consumers and sellers to transact adventure products and services not only from Nepal but from across the world.
