Kathmandu, July 21, 2015: Yet another moderate aftershock has jolted the country today morning after a hiatus of four days, according to the National Seismological Centre.
The aftershock, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, rattled various parts of the country, including the capital city. With the epicenter in Dolakha district, the aftershock was recorded to have hit at 8:09 am, the Centre informed.
Four days ago, a 4-Richter-scale aftershock with an epicenter in Gorkha district, had jolted various part of the country.
Aftershocks continue to rock the country despite the April 25 quake, also known as the ‘Gorkha earthquake’, reaching nearly three months.
Following the Gorkha earthquake, some 400 aftershocks measuring above four Richter scale have been recorded by the Centre.
