Kathmandu, February 20, 2018:  The Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA) is set to organize a national training/workshop named ‘International Protocol, Diplomacy and Strategic Management’ from February 26 to February 27, 2018, at The Malla Hotel, Lainchaur, Kathmandu.

Through this workshop, diplomats, leaders of corporate houses, aspiring professionals and professionals who are enthusiastic about diplomacy and etiquette will bag an opportunity to learn about networking and communication, diplomatic practice linked with history, royalty, religion, culture and language for the development of effective strategic relationships, set of established rules of courteousness that are to be respected in society, culture and language for the development of effective strategic relationships, modern rules of engagement. It also helps business executives master the basics of etiquette and get a better understanding of multicultural manners within changing scenarios.

The trainers of the workshop include Gilbert Monod de Froideville, former Master of Ceremonies of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and Director of the consulting company Protocol International; Mark Verheul,  Head of Protocol of The Hague: the International City of Peace and Justice; Mohan Krishna Shrestha, former Ambassador to France, Permanent Representative to UNESCO and Chief of Protocol, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Indra Kumar Shrestha,  a professional trainer and consultant associated to I/NGOs and corporate sector for last 15 years.
