Lumbini, February 22, 2019: The Buddhist University of Myanmar is offering a full scholarship to the Nepali students who are willing to pursue MPhil and Ph.D.
Officials of Myanmar stated that they will provide a scholarship to the MA students graduated in any field of Buddhism from Nepal’s Lumbini Buddhist University.
Various universities in Myanmar like Prasidda University, State Paariyati Shashan University, Yangon, International Buddhist Theravada Missionary University and Yangon University would provide a scholarship to Nepali students eager to do research and dissertation in Buddhism.
The assurance was made by the officials of Myanmar universities in course of interaction with Nepali delegation headed by the chief of central campus of Lumbini University, Fanindra Neupane.
Having a vast majority of Buddhist, Myanmar has present high importance to Theravada Buddhist teachings from primary level to university level education.
