Baglung, August 2, 2017: The newly elected people’s representatives here at Purchaudi municipality-1 have launched door-to-door campaign for ending child marriage practices.
The representatives led by Ward no 1 Chairperson, Ganesh Bahadur Gadal, are launching the campaign, said local resident, Lal Bahadur Bhandari. They have been advising the villagers to marry off their children only after 20 years of age.
They have also urged the villagers to keep the neighborhoods clean. Hat Health Post In-charge, Binod Kumar Kunwar, pledged support for the campaign undertaken by people’s representatives to eliminate child marriage practices.
