Bhaktapur,29 Jan 2015:Minister for General Administration Lalbabu Pandit on Thursday termed what he called ‘elements’ attempting to block the promulgation of the new constitution a ‘sick person suffering from a chronic mental illness’.
At an interaction held by the Rafat Media Club Bhaktapur, the Minister said it was the principle factor driving the elements to obstruct the constitution writing.
“The people want a constitution, but the disease-laden elements are trying to obstruct the constitution making against the aspirations of the people,” Minister Pandit said adding, “The constitution must be delivered even if we have to take them for cure at the hospital.”
The Minister reiterated the stance of the ruling parties to opt for voting process to deliver the constitution as the bid at consensus was thwarted due to the elements.
He said that the constitution making process once turned on cannot be stopped while claiming that if the current Constituent Assembly failed to deliver a new constitution there would not be any such possibility Nepal in future.
