EmpowHer finale was successfully organized today in Amarpali Banquet, Bhatbhteni in the presence of distinguished jury members, chief guest, a senior advocate of Supreme court, Sapna Pradhan Malla, media personnel and more than 200 audiences.

The session begun with the welcome speech then Ms Amuda Mishra, Founder Executive Director at Ujjyalo Foundation shared her story and also enlighten about the empowHer as a first Women leadership programed which is being hosted by Ujyalo Foundation with an aims to create self-reliant women leaders .Thus it show case independence, resilience and competence in today’s world.” We can be a great role models for other women in community and effectively contribute in the society”, she added. Mr. Narottam Aryal, executive director of king college has also spoken about the importance of women empower in today’s competitive age for the quick and overall development of the nation.

_G8A9181The formal session begun with the introduction of the eleven participants representing cultural diversity. They pitched their ideas of their service impact project in front of the Jury. Along with it, they also showed their talent performances like: Singing song, dancing, musical drama, playing paino, speech etc. Every Ideas were good in their own way. But in overall three winners were chosen based on their impact project idea and their performance throughout the program. Among them 1st position was secured by Charu Chettri for the idea of “TYO PURANO GHAR” impact project. Her personal motto: “If u believe u can achieve”

Likewise 2nd position is awarded to Binita Bala Shrestha for her impact service idea: “GIRLS IN STEM”. She is also associated in group project regarding Health and awareness and she follow her personal motto:” let your passion and dedication follow by hard work ” similarly Grishma Shrestha received  3rd position for her impact service idea: “UPGRADING THE LIFE OF STREET CHILDRENA”. Her personal motto says “Do what you can where you are and what you have”

All three winners received a seed fund money of NRs. 100,000 to implement their impact service idea likewise they also got one year free mentorship for the project from Ujyalo Foundation. The program was fruitful hearing 11 aspiring change makers’ idea on how to improve the status of women and women leadership in Nepal.
