Kathmandu, February 21, 2018: Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum is set to host the sixth edition of ‘Made in Nepal Expo’ from March 16 to March 18, 2018 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.

The main motive of the exhibition is said to be to spread the message about the high-quality Nepali products and services and to raise awareness to Nepali consumers.

The exhibition is titled with the slogan ‘Hamro Pani Ramro Pani’, meaning our locally produced goods are also as decent as international goods. Deepak Thapa, member of the organizing team, stated that the slogan was the same as of previous year to emphasize the use of domestic product.

The exhibition will feature more than 150 stalls presenting the offerings from various industries and locations across the country. The offerings in the exhibition will include products related to garments, automobiles, handicrafts, agriculture, leather, furniture, travel and tours, cottage industry, herbal products, fashion designing, music and movies. Musical events, branding launches, liaison tie-ups, endorsements and lobbies, seminars and various live performances from various stalls will also be the special feature in the exhibition.

Sudarshan Basnet, chairperson of the Made in Nepal Expo said “This year’s exhibition will be mainly geared towards raising awareness among Nepali consumers about high quality Nepali products and services. Through this expo, we wish to help Nepali companies and industries gain confidence in improving the quality of their products and services.” Furthermore, he added that the organizers use products made in Nepal in their own offices and homes and they also insists the use of domestic equipment in governmental offices.
