Nepalgunj, April 7, 2017: The Nepalgunj Festival, a week long event that encompasses cultural, literary, art, sports and tourism activities, has been kicked-off today.
The festival is organised under the joint aegis of Creative Hands, Siddhartha Group, CelebrityKhabar.Com and Creative Group.
A cycle race was organised as part of the festival today in which Prakash Bohara stood first, Govinda Rijal second and Gagan Singh Thapa third.
The winners took home a mountain bike each. Chancellor of Nepal Academy Ganga Prasad Uprety, member-secretary Jitendra Dev Giri and Conal Chief of Police , Senior Superintendent Mahesh Bikram Shah handed over the mountain bike to the winners.
The festival will run till April 13 and will see a motley of programmes.
