Kathmandu: The Footwear exhibition of the reputed shoe companies of Nepal started from Thursday at the Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
The reputed shoe manufacturing companies have put on a stall on the right side just after the entrance gate of Bhrikutimandap.
This fair has been started with the purpose of direct meet- up between members of Consumer Union and reputed and well-established companies like Shikhar Shoes, B.f. Dear hill, Land wash, Run Shoes and Shoe land.
According to the press release, the price range of shoes is from Rs. 250 to 8,000 while that of a slipper is from Rs. 100 to 1,000 in the fair with a discount of 15% to 50%. The fair which is held every year has been anticipated to be a different one this year as this year the shoes and slippers on sale are for different age groups from children to adult and old age people. Also, there are shoes for both summer and winter season.
