Kalaiya, 27 Jan 2015: An unidentified person has murdered a four year old boy of Kalaiya Municipality-5 after kidnapping him on Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as Ashish Kumar Saha, the son of Motilal Prasad Saha.
According to the District Police Office, the unidentified person kidnapped the child when he was alone at his home, as his mother had gone to her neighbour’s house at around 10:00 pm.
The child was found seriously injured and in an unconscious condition at the local horse-cart station.
The child died at 11:00 pm while undergoing treatment at the Birgunj Sub-Regional Hospital.
Police have begun an investigation into the incident and launched a search for the alleged kidnapper.
