Kathmandu, February 19, 2017: The Global Millennium Summit 2017 is all set to be held in the city of Dubai, UAE on 18th and 19th March. As India’s first ever International student-run Summit, the event will comprise intellectually stimulating events capturing diverse aspects of entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology.
The Summit seeks to initiate a dialogue between the students of the world’s leading universities, and notable leaders from the fields of governance, business, technology, and academia. The two days long extravaganza will witness workshops covering topics that are pertinent in the 21st century. This will be an opportunity for the audience to learn, and will be an immense value addition for their personal and professional lives.
The summit will open with keynote speeches by Mr. Keshav Bansal, Director, Intex Technologies and Owner, Ipl Team Gujarat Lions; and Mr. Mayank Malik, CEO Citibank, Jordan, Iraq and Levant Region.
On the first day of the event, a Panel Discussion on Entrepreneurship will take place, along with Case Study Competition Finals, and a Workshop. Also, Sustainability hour will be held on the same day.
Wherein, on the second and the last day, a Panel Discussion focusing on Smart Cities concept will be held. Mr. Martin Tillman, Director at AECOM, an American Multinational Engineering Consultancy and leads the Strategic Planning and Advisory for UAE and Oman will be the lead speaker on the discussion session. Start-ups Final Pitch will happen on the second day itself, providing a platform for young thinkers to present their business ideas to a panel of ace entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. Similarly, a Panel Discussion session on Technology, and workshops will be held later on the day.
Meanwhile, National Launch of the summit was inaugurated by Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Minister of Science and Technology. Various interesting set of events and an enthralling EDM Performance by Zaeden made the National Launch of Global Millennium Summit.
