The situation has got to the point that the Saraswiti Adharbhut School at Sima VDC-2 in Jajarkot is forced to run a business of fishery and poultry farming to cover the expenses spent on teacher’s salaries. The school has six teachers appointed under private resources.

“Without any other option, we are forced to run the business to pay for the salary of school teachers,” said the school management committee chairman Indra Prakash Adhikari.

Established in 2024 B.S., the school, which is running classes up to basic level, is planning to upgrade to secondary level.
