Birtamode(Jhapa), September 20, 2016: Bageshowory Ashal Sasan Club (BAS), Jhapa district chapter has felicitated a youth journalist amidst a special function organized to celebrate the first Constitution Day in Birtamode.
Gaurav Pokharel, a journalist working with Online Khabar & Bibechana Daily, was felicitated amid the celebration presided over by the BAS President Rajendra Khanal.
Chief Guest for the programme, and the Information Officer at the District Administration Office, Jhapa, Mr. Prakash Chandra Chaudhari, among other officials handed over the letter of appreciation to Pokharel.
He was being honored for his contribution for social transformation through his involvement in the media.
“BAS Jhapa feels proud to honour you for the height you have reached at this tender age and the contribution you have made for the protection of child rights through your works in various media,†reads the letter. “On the proud moment of you reaching the Top 6 Position in the Glocal Teen Hero 2016 for your contributions towards the society, we hand over this felicitation letter and wish for the continuity in your success in the days to come,†the letter further reads.
