The annual championship which has been brought forth exclusively for law students from Nepal and around the world aims to engage the law community in the art of debating in globally followed British Parliamentary (BP) style. There shall be multidisciplinary motions – often along with a bit of legal dimension.
Debates will be conducted in two language categories: Nepali and English.
This four days long tournament includes a brief workshop, five group stage rounds, knockout rounds, category based grand finales and an award ceremony.
Each British Parliamentary format based debate lasts for an hour where four teams (with two members each) divided in two sides – government and opposition, defend and oppose a motion or a debate topic respectively.

Debate Format: British Parliamentary
Registration fees for national teams: 2500
Registration fees for international teams: USD 100 [includes accommodation and food except dinners]
Venue: National Law College, Sanepa, Lalitpur, Nepal
Team cap: 40 | Reg policy: First come first serve
Eligibility: High school and university level law students and recent law graduates
Fee payment method: bank deposit/ cash submission after selection (International teams may bank transfer or pay upon arrival)
