Mega Health Camp successfully Concluded at Taudaha

Kathmandu, April 21, 2019: Rotaract Club of Patan in association with different other organizations conducted a Mega Health Camp at Shree Taudaha National Secondary School, Taudaha, Lalitpur on  20th April 2019.

On the occasion of Silver Jubilee celebration of Returned United Nations Volunteers’ Association Nepal, RUNVAN in partnership with Star Hospital Pvt. Ltd and in association with Nepal Heart Foundation, Rotary Club of Patan, Rotaract Club of Patan, Quest Pharmaceuticals and Kirtipur Municipality organized the camp. The camp had different services such as Blood Donation, Eye, ENT, General Check-up, Gynecology, Heart, Kidney, Orthopedics along with other benefits like free medicine distribution, Echo and ECG were provided.

The camp began at 8 A.M. in the morning. RUNVAN began their 25th-anniversary celebration program at 10 A.M. They extended their gratitude to all the partners and collaborators. They also thanked everyone for their help and presence at the camp. With this, Star Hospital also announced that they’ll be providing free medical services to all the people present at the camp if they visit the hospital with the card provided at the event. The Ward Chairman of Kirtipur Ward No. 6 Mr. Nhuchhe Maharjan and National Social Worker Mr. Jagadish Vaidhya were also present at the camp.

Likewise,the President of Rotaract Club of Patan said, “Our club has been planning and conducting different community service activities related to health this year. We being a part of this camp has helped us make our rotaract community more visible to the public. We will be conducting similar camps in the days to come as well and help our community grow healthier. The camp today has benefitted more than 300 people in the Kirtipur Municipality which is a great achievement for us.”
