Ministry proclaim 75% scholarship quota for medical students

Kathmandu: Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, promulgated notice in the field of medical college affiliated to Tribhuvan University and its constituent colleges to give 75% scholarship quota.

Scholarship quota will be available for 10 different medical courses such as Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelors of Naval Science, Bachelor’s in pharmacy, Bachelors in Optometry, Bachelors in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, Bachelors in Public Health, BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology, Bachelors of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and Perfusion Technology.

The colleges affiliated to private universities such as Kathmandu University will also have to allocate 10% scholarship quota for deserving candidates.Whereas the medical colleges operated with foreign investment will have to allocate 20% scholarship quota for students.

This year interested candidates can apply for scholarship and need to secure 50% marks in the entrance exam conducted by the related university or academy.For which interested applicants can drop their application from 4th of November and the application deadline is 18th of November 2019.
