September 6, 2016:Â Nepal SBI Bank has entered into an agreement with Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan City to clean-up Fewa Lake and preserve its beauty. Vijay Kumar Tyagi, Chief Operating Officer (DY CEO) and Om Raj Poudel, Acting Chief of Pokhara Sub-Metropolitan signed the agreement paper on this regard.
As per the agreement, the bank will construct maximum 15 rest stations/ observation shades within 100-200 meters (from Barahi Ghat to Chautara of Gaira) of recently constructed foot-tracks on the bank of Fewa Lake. Similarly, the bank will also construct attractive gardens and develop greenery in the surrounding of the lake.
