Kathmandu, February 26, 2019: Nepal have defeated China by five runs in their match under the ICC Women T20 World Cup Asia Region Qualifier held in Thailand.
China could make only 72 runs while chasing the 78 run target posted by Nepal. They lost six wickets in the allocated 20 overs during the chase.
For Nepal, Sita Rana Mahar took three wickets whereas Kabita Kunwar one.
In the first innings, Nepal were invited to bat after losing the toss. They could score meager 77 runs in 20 overs at the loss of nine wickets.
Nepal had an impressive opening as Kajal Shrestha and Sita Rana Magar made a 32 run partnership.
This is a cheerful moment for Women Cricket team of Nepal.
