Mugu,16 Dec 2014: Mugu, a mountainous district in the mid-western region, has been finally connected with the fast internet services.
Internet service subscribers here are now happy with the accessibility of fast services provided by the Nepal Telecom (NT) after a long wait. The NT has set up microwave radio link at Tharpa of Ruga VDC.
With the installation of the link, NT services including GSM, CDMA mobile, landline and ADSL internet services have become faster, according to NT Wireless Telephone Directorate engineer Sujan Shrestha. Internet service in the district has been upgraded to 340 Mbps from two Mbps, it is learnt.
