Kathmandu,28 Jan 2015: The President of the International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC) and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Tadateru Konoe, is arriving Nepal tomorrow on a two-day visit.
President Konoe, during his visit, will pay a courtesy call on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on 30 January, together with Jagan Chapagain and Simon Missiri, the IFRC Director of Asia Pacific Zone and IFRC Head of South Asia Regional Delegation respectively, according to Nepal Red Cross Society.
During the visit, President Konoe is scheduled to take stock of the major undertakings by the Nepal Red Cross including Earthquake Preparedness Programme and Blood Transfusion Service.
