Rampur (Palpa), 26th January, 2015 : An information centre has been set up at Kaseni Sarai of Palpa with the support of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
Chief District Officer of the Palpa District, Bishnu Kumar Karki, inaugurated the information centre established by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
Speaking on the occasion, CDO Karki said the Centre would be a reliable means for linking the locals with the rest of the world. He called on the people to become capable using the modern information technology, stressing on the need for the bodies concerned to prepare the basis for the sustainability of the facility.
The Helping Hands for Rural Development and the District Post Office are running the Centre in coordination with the Kaseni Village Development Committee (VDC).
