Jajarkot,14 March 2015: A girl was killed while her younger brother was injured when they were struck by lightning at Nayakbada of Jiri-2 in Jajarkot Saturday.
Seema Kumari Rawat, 14, died on the spot while Nabin, 12, has been left critically injured. Seema was a sixth grader at local Bhagawati Lower Secondary School while Nabin is a fourth-grade student at the same school, according to their teacher Khadak Rawat.
The siblings came under the sudden discharge of electric current while they were on the way to home after collecting green fodder on their holiday today.
