Mustang, 3 June, 2015 :Â 90Â percent of total religious heritages in Mustang, including temples and monasteries have suffered huge damages by the deadly earthquake.
Except Muktinath temple, most of the temples and monasteries have been damaged, said Chairman of Nepal Red Cross Society Mustang chapter Chandra Bahadur Thakali.
Mustang district is frequently visited by students, monks and Buddhist followers at home and abroad for studying Buddhism and to worship in the monasteries.
Chairman Thakali said “Chyaden Monastery in Lho Manthang Durbar, Nanglyang Monastery of Chhonhup, Charrang, Nifuk and Jhong monasteries have been completely damaged by the recent earthquakes.”
