REVOLVING FUND OF RS 500,000 ESTABLISHED IN THE NAME OF SCHOOL

Myagdi, Aug. 19: Begkhola folks in Myagdi district, living in UK, have established a revolving fund of Rs 500,000 in the name of a school.

Begkhola folks associated with Begkhola Welfare Society Sub-Branch, UK, established the revolving fund in the name of Mahadev Secondary School, Begkhola, to award SLC pass out students every year.

Begkhola VDC Secretary, Chitranath Sharma, said that the each SLC pass out student would be awarded with Rs 2,000 from the revolving fund every year. Establishment of the revolving fund was announced at a programme organised at the school.

At a programme chaired by the School Management Committee Chairman, K. Bahadur Pun, U. Bahadur Garbuja of Begkhola Welfare Society Sub-Branch, UK, said that such award would encourage the students towards the study.

According to the School, social workers associated with Sub-Branch, UK, are awarding the SLC pass out students with Rs 2,000 every year since 2062 BS.

Meanwhile, office-bearers of the Begkhola Welfare Society Sub-Branch, UK, also provided financial assistance of Rs 78,000 to kidney patient, Ganesh Tilija, and Rs 42,000 to Deepa Sherbuja, who was injured in a road accident.
