Short film making Workshop in Biratnagar

Biratnagar, 25 May, 2015: Onion films Nepal is conducting ten days of short film making workshop from 20th of May in Morang, Biratnagar with the aid of Accountability lab, Bikalpa and Birat College for professional studies in the hall of Hotel Namaskar.

“The objective of the workshop is to equip young visual story-telling skills and to bring out the issues of accountability and transparency” said, co-founder, Surath Giri.

The workshop includes five days of training and five days of project work in which participants are given knowledege on short films and how to make it. At the end of the workshop, participants need to make a short film related to accountability and transparency.

Onion films have already conducted eight workshops inside the valley with fifty and a hundred graduates from eight workshops. It is their first workshop outside the valley in where a total of twenty six participants are participating.

Onion Films was co-founded by Surath Giri and Govinda Siwakoti in 2011 A.D.
