Kathmandu, September 13, 2017: The 11th edition of Kathmandu Marathon is all set to be held on September 16, 2017.
First organized on 6th October, 2007, Kathmandu Marathon is the biggest annual Marathon in the history of Nepal.
Legendary marathoner Baikuntha Manandhar is the national record-holder for Nepal.
Manandhar had broken South Asian Games marathon record in the 1987. His record of 2:15:03 still remains unbeaten.
September 16 will see three kinds of races: Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K Open, 5K School, and Wheel Chair.
The marathon starts from Dashrath Stadium, Tripureshwor.
