Two-day International Child welfare Literature conference concludes

Kanchanpur, 22 Oct 2014: A two-day International Child Welfare Literature Conference organised at Indian bordering city, Khatima, concluded on Tuesday.

Litterateurs of Nepal, India and Bangladesh had participated in the conference organised by the Child Welfare Literature Foundation, Khatima.

Litterateurs of the three countries presented more than one dozens of working in the conference organised thinking world peace could be established through the medium of child literature.

In the conference, Chairman of the Mahakali Sahitya Sangam, Bir Bahadur Chand, presented a working paper on “Impact of Indian literature in Nepal.”

A total of 25 litterateurs of different places of Nepal including Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Chitwan and Pokhara, had participated in the conference.

On the occasion, Chairman Chand expressed belief that the conference has strengthen the mutual relations between the people of the three countries.
