21 November,2014:Â Early on Thursday, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were snapped together at the Mumbai airport.
Earlier, the cricketer and the actress were clicked on the streets of New Zealand and England. Anushka was also spotted in the stands during the recently-concluded series against Sri Lanka when Virat blew her a kiss after hitting a ton. They didn’t deny the relationship but neither owned up to it either, till last evening.
At a function to launch his clothing line, when asked about his relationship status, Virat shot back: “Whatever is there is out in the open, I have nothing to hide. I am not doing anything wrong. If people were to use simple logic, they wouldn’t be asking this question about two people seen together so often. It’s common sense. It can get a bit irritating if you are asked the same question again and again. It’s a personal matter and not a topic of debate.”
With one simple answer, Virat has pushed the monkey off his back before he leaves for the Australia series tonight.
