NextGen Youth, a fellowship programme of National College, Baluwatar offered in association with Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness, South Asian Foundation Nepal, We Inspire Nepal and Youth Network for Social & Environmental Development, has called for applications from interested candidates for the 2017 batch. This fellowship is awarded to the selected students of higher secondary school level.
The programme seeks to promote the importance of social, cultural and environmental awareness among the youths through field experience, research, training and voluntary works in different parts of the country.
The fellowship will empower the selected fellows by enhancing their leadership skills, research skills, campaigning skills and small-scale project management skills which lead to the shaping of the Next Generation Leadership capable of contributing efficiently to the Nation Building.
Eligibility:
The candidates;
- Must have cleared class 11 or equivalent level.
- Should have interest to work in development and social sectors.
- Should be willing to travel inside or outside Kathmandu valley for field activities.
- Must have commitment to participate actively in fellowship activities at least for 6 months.
- Should have the urge to learn and practice innovative ideas.
Note: Selected Students will be fully funded throughout the programme, but students applying from outside of Kathmandu Valley should manage the Accommodation for their stay in Kathmandu and travel to and from Kathmandu.
