Kathmandu, September 5 :Â Nepal Bank Ltd. provided 500,000 rupees to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund.
Prof.Dr. Devraj Adhikari, Chairman of Nepal Bank handed over the amount to The Prime Minister, Sushil Koirala, at the official residence of the Prime Minister Baluwatar.
Maheshworlal Shrestha,CEO of Nepal Bank said that after the Bank’s Board Committee meeting, the decision took into effect and handed over the amount.
Prime Minister Koirala said that the fund should not be misused as all sectors have provided support to the flood and landslide.
CEO of Bank said that the bank provided the fund as per its social responsibility and is committed to support victims of landslide and flood.
