Kathmandu, February 18, 2018: Nepal Tourism Board in collaboration with Ekadeshma International Short Film Festival has opened up its application for ‘Naturally Nepal Short Film Competition.’ The deadline for the application is February 28, 2018.
The competition is open to Nepali citizens only. Aspiring filmmakers, directors and film owners can take part in the competition. The competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by Nepal Tourism Board and Ekadeshma International Short Film Festival.
The films must be shot in the geographical boundaries of Nepal representing Nepal’s tourism potentials. The movie should not exceed a duration of 7 minutes and must be of HD resolution of 1080p or higher, with stereo or 5.1 surround sound audio. There is no limit to the number of fils that can be submitted by any one individual, however all the footage and audio, including music in the videos should be original.
The theme for the competition is ‘Journey’. Some of the aspects required in the content of film are landscapes, wildlife, festivals, history, lifestyle, culture, nature, rural tourism and so forth. The participants can submit their film of any genre- fiction or non-fiction.
