ANFA CUP FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT KICKS OFF TUESDAY

Kathmandu, Sept 1: The ANFA Cup football tournament kicks off on Tuesday with A division league champion Manang Marsyangdi Club facing Jhapa football cup at the Dasarasth stadium. A total of eight teams including six A division clubs and two from outside the valley are taking part in the tournament to be played on a knock-out basis. The winner of the tournament will bag a cash prize of Rs. one million while the runner-up will take home Rs. 500,000.

Other teams vying for the cup are Armed Police Force (APF) club, Three Star Club, Sankata Club, Tribhuban Army Club, Nepal Police Club and Morang Football Club.
