Kathmandu, 18 Nov 2014: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has handed over the management of H & B Development Bank to new Board of Directors on Tuesday.

The NRB had taken over the management of the H & B Development after a good-for-payment scam resulted in problem in the bank in May earlier this year.

The central bank has formed a new BoD comprising Madhav Acharya, Sushil Parajuli, Lekh Bahadur Gurung, Kedarman Karmacharya and Gopal Bastola.

One among the five would be named chairman of the BoD from the new management.

The H & B Development Bank bade farewell to senior officers of the central bank Bishnumani Gautam and Hemraj Adhikari for their contribution to meet the bank’s previous position.

On the occasion, Gautam said that bank’s liquidity and capital fund was sufficient and other indexes were also satisfactory.
