Parsa, 3 Nov 2014: Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF)-Nepal, Upendra Yadav, has said that the concept of six or seven provinces brought by the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party was against federalism and republicanism.

At a news conference organised by the Madhesi Journalists Society, Parsa, at Birgunj today, Yadav said the concept brought against federalism, republic and consensus would not be acceptable to his party at any cost.

He said the concept brought by the three parties proposing for electing representatives through direct election was against the Interim Constitution and consensus.

The MJF-Nepal Chairman said the concept was for reversing the inclusive democracy.

Chairman Yadav determined that the three parties have brought the concept against the proportional inclusion norms and values as well as to obstruct participation of all sections in the government.

He said the state restructuring should be carried out as per the report presented at the erstwhile Constitution Assembly (CA) and previous agreements.
