Doctor pledges to support for education of 20 disadvantaged children

Ratnanagar (Chitwan), January 07, 2016: A doctor has pledged to bear all the expenses involved in educating some 20 disadvantaged children of Shaktikhor and Siddei VDCs of Chitwan up to School Leaving Certificate.
Medical Oncologist at BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Bharatpur of Chitwan, Jaya Shrestha, came up with her magnanimity to support for the cause of education to helpless children. The children are studying at two to five grades.
The support package includes necessary uniform, stationery and bag which will amount to Rs 3,000 per student annually, Shrestha said.
Earlier, she has been organizing free health camps in distant mountainous villages.
