Kathmandu, July 10: The financial aid of worth Rs 111,111 has been provided by the Democratic Forester Association, Nepal (DeFAN) to the Prime Minister Natural Disaster Rescue and Relief Fund.
A cheque equivalent to the amount was handed over to PM Koirala by the Association Chairman Damodar Sharma at a programme organised at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar this morning.
The government has been engaged not to allow the misuse of the fund provided for quake survivors, PM Koirala said on the occasion.Rajan Regmi, Jagannath Koirala, Prabhu Budhathoki, Khagendra Dulal, Gauri Shanker Timila and Shyam Prasad Sharma of the Association were present in the occasion.
PM added expressing satisfaction over the progress made in constitution writing that the new constitution will be promulgated soon and peace, stability and development will be soon in the country.
