Fund Raised By Nepali Youth Of UK For The Quake Survivor.

London, June 1, 2015: A cultural programme  has been organized by the youth of reading city of the united kingdom (UK) on Saturday  to raise funds for the survivors of the recent destructive earthquake of Nepal.

Nepali origin living in the Reading area performed the patriotic songs and dance to generate fund for the earthquake victims in Nepal. The performer in the programme were Youths and small children.

Besides that the slogan of cultural programme ‘Who will if we do not; when will we do if not now,’evoke  the audience about their responsibilities at this immensely difficult time in Nepal where over 8,600 people died, thousands were injured and over 300,000 houses damaged and destroyed in the massive earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale that struck on April 25.

The patriotic songs about Nepal and the hard time they have to face after the earthquake and hundreds of aftershocks sang by the youth made the people in the audience emotional and even tears rolled down from the eyes of people.

For the collection of fund people living in reading including the Greater Reading Nepalese Community Association (GRNCA) have been actively involved.
