Kathmandu, February 2, 2017: The National Consumers Forum has demanded that the government should revoke the increment in price hike of liquefied petroleum gas, terming the move inappropriate.

In a statement issued by Forum’s Chairman Prem Lal Maharjan today, the Forum accused the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) of destabilising economic market by increasing the price of cooking gas.

The government has increased price of cooking gas to Rs 1,350 per cylinder from Rs 1,325 effectively from last night.
