Kanchanpur, Oct 13:Â Locals of Daiji Dharmapur here have brought a health post into operation in their village collecting money for the purpose.
They converted the Gaunghar Clinic that was in operation in the village for years into a health post. With this, they need not travel far for availing various health services.
According to Ganesh Bahadur BK, president of the health post management committee, 35 to 40 individuals on an average have been visiting the health post daily for various health services. The health post is housed at an old building in the Bachhela community forest.
The health post staffs including the assistant health worker are paid by the District Public Health Office, the VDC office and the support provided by the locals.
