Kathmandu, Nov 25: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is coming to Nepal to attend the 18th SAARC Summit is donating a modern helicopter to the Nepal Army today.
The Indian PM is gifting the helicopter to the NA amidst a special function being organized at Tundikhel, in the capital city, today afternoon.
It is being gifted as part of the exchange of assistance between the two countries.
The 14 seats helicopter can be piloted to the mountainous and hilly districts easily, said Jagdish Chandra Pokhrel, Spokesperson of the Nepal Army.
The Indian Army and the Nepal Army have been enjoying very friendly relations for long.
