Lamjung, January 17, 2019: The schools that were destroyed by 2015 earthquake are being rebuilt in Lamjung. Education Development and Coordination Unit Office stated the rebuilding work of damaged schools were done with the collaboration of the Department of Education and National Reconstruction Authority Central Project Coordination Unit Education Program.
In the fiscal year 2015-16, 15 million was estimated to rebuild 2-room buildings of 75 schools,3-room buildings of 13 schools and 4-room buildings of 9 schools. In addition, in the fiscal year 2016-17, National reconstruction Authority central project implementation unit education had authorized 2.8 million for reconstruction 8 schools. Meanwhile, for the fiscal year 2017-18, 2.8 million has been allocated to reconstruct 30 schools by the Department of Education.
NRA Central Project implementation unit has implemented 10 million for the rebuild of 29 schools for the current fiscal year.
