Kathmandu, March 19, 2018: On the occasion of 6th SAARC Business Leaders Conclave 2018 hosted by SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industries, SAARC-CCI & Glocal signed the MoU to take forth the efforts together on providing opportunities and exposures to youth on skills, entrepreneurship, and education.
The MoU was signed by the President of SARRC-CCI, Mr. Suraj Vaidya and Executive Director of Golocal Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Asish Thakur on 18th of March, 2018 in presence of Hon. Mr. Matrika Prasad Yadav, Minister for Commerce and Supplies, Nepal; Hon. Mr. Humyoon Rasaw, Minister for Commerce and Industries, Afghanistan, and Hon. Mr. Lyonpo Lekey Dorji, Minister for Economic Affairs, Bhutan.
As per the MoU signed, both parties will work on giving a platform to teenagers of South Asia taking Glocal Teen Hero project around South Asia. Glocal Teen Hero is a platform that is exclusively for the teenagers 13-19 years that recognize their initiation, creativity, and enthusiasm so as to empower them and a lot more.
Executive Director of Glocal Pvt. Ltd., Asish Thakur says,” This is also a great moment for us, at Glocal while we are bringing our flagship project Glocal Teen Hero around South Asia. This MoU today has provided us much strength and empowerment.”
Glocal Pvt. Ltd. is a company which works as online media, CSR and Brand consultant, also focusing on training and development through ; Glocal After School and adding to growth and development of entrepreneurship and youth through various projects like Glocal Teen Hero and Glocal International Teen Conference.
