KATHMANDU:Nepal U-23 football team has repeated the history as they win Gold medal kn an interval of 23 log years defeating India by 2-1.
Nepal were 1-0 down on the first half of the game. Halicharan Narzary netted the ball in in the Penalty. Aditya Chaudary fouled kuman Udanta Singh inside the penalty area.
Prakash Buddhathoka brilliant free kick that curled the ball into the net helped Nepal level the Score into the 66th minute.
With the gold , Nepal has banged three Gold medals in 12th South Asian Games.
Nawayug Shrestha, who was marked by Indian defenders in the first half, made an athletic finish into the Goal post from Anjan Bista’s cross from the left flank area and gave Nepal  a deserved lead in the 71st minute.
